Saints performance at GNAC meet matches weather
It was not a fitting way to end an otherwise great track season. The highlights of the day were significant, but few, the rest was disappointing for the Saints. “We had a very average meet,” said Saints head coach Brad Hooper. “Actually, it was one of our worst meets of the year. The weather was horrible, and our performance kind of matched it.”

Roth, Hanson receive GNAC top honors
The 2002 softball season has come to a close, and with it some outstanding recognition for the Saints. Catcher Lisa Roth (Sr, Armington, IL) was selected by GNAC coaches as a First Team All-GNAC player. She has been the workhorse behind the plate for the Saints for four years, and is now receiving the reward for hard work and perseverance. Roth is also a three-time Academic All-Conference award winner, carrying a 3.41 grade point average as an engineering major.

Saints finish eigth in Golf Regional
Lucas Pidgeon shot a final round 73 to lead the Saints, but it wasn't enough as the Saints season ended with an 8th place finish at the NCAA Division II West Regional at Estrella Mountain Ranch GC in Goodyear, Arizona today. The Saints began the final round in the #8 spot, and even though they improved 13 strokes over their 2nd round, no other team shot over 300 for the day.
