Geoducks return to playoffs today
After a seven-year absence from the men's soccer playoffs, The Evergreen State College plays Concordia of Portland in a loser-out match Thursday in the first round of the Cascade Conference championships. "This is where we wanted to be," said Evergreen's co-coach Tom Boatright, who took over a program that had won just three games last season and was winless the year before that.

Saint Martin's beats PLU in exhibition
The Saint Martin's volleyball team recorded their second win of the season in an exhibition match against PLU. After losing the first game 26-30, the Saints swept the last three games 30-21, 30-28, 30-19. “Everyone got a lot of playing time and did very well,” Saints coach Clyde Reis said. “This was a nice way to start the second half of the season.”
