Well, its all over for the Geoducks, and the Mike Parker era of Evergreen Basketball ends with 33 points and a loss to the Ferrier brother of Elma. In the end, this season could have been better, but for what it was, it was entertaining. Our preseason ranking was three points higher (4) than where we ended up (7), so that's disapointing. But, on the bright side of life, we only graduate three this year, and one of those guys in Devin Jones.
Maybe next year we'll get baseball hats with real stitching.

Saints defeat second worst team in Great NW
For their first win of the seaons, the St. Martin's almost Aints beat Northwest Nazarene. This would have been their second win of the season, if they had counted the early season romping of the Evergreen State Geoducks.
Saint Martin's, an NCAA Division II school feeling pressure from its Greater Northwest Athletic Conference, reduced the rivalry game to an exhibition because of the power ratings that determine who reaches the playoffs. A win against NAIA opponents counts the same as a loss against an NCAA Division II team.
